Public Meetings

Long Whatton and Diseworth Parish Council meetings are held either at the Diseworth Heritage Centre or at Long Whatton Community Association, within the Long Whatton Primary School. All Full Council meetings are open to the public, although it is at the Chairman's discretion if individuals are allowed to pass comment. At every Full Council meeting there is an Agenda item for Public Participation.

The Annual Parish Meeting is normally held the first Thursday of April. This is not a Parish Council meeting but one for the electorate and is a "Public Meeting" in every sense.
